In our attempt to have a bit of innocent fun with anagrams, we got our facts wrong about Anthony Julius, Mishcon de Reya and the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund (Tulkinghorn, 19 January 2004). We are happy to set the record straight. Anthony Julius did not step down from running the fund amid a media scandal. He handed the chairmanship of the fund to Christopher Spence in March 1999, continued as a trustee for a further period, and is now vice-president.
In a headline in last week’s employment supplement, it was inaccurately stated that it was an Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) member’s “wholly inappropriate” doze that sparked a claim of unfair hearing. It was not an EAT member who allegedly dozed, but an original employment tribunal member. We are happy to set the record straight.
