English Partnerships is about to put law firms through their paces after launching a review of its advisers.
The national regeneration agency is seeking to appoint between three and six firms for five regional areas, covering the North East, North West, West Midlands, Thames Gateway and the South.
Judith Roberts, head of legal services at English Partnerships, said the review was protocol for a government agency, as the current contract for the agency’s legal panel was about to expire.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 17 September. The appointments will last for a period of four years from 1 April 2005, after the agency extended the statutory three-year tenure by one year.
