A breakaway group of Rowe Cohen partners has launched a new Manchester-based firm targeting clients in small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
Lewis Hymanson Small (LHS), which opened for business on 1 March this year, was set up by former Rowe Cohen partners Ian Lewis, Mike Hymanson and Graham Small.
Small said: “Essentially we wanted to set up the firm because we felt that we were better equipped to work in the commercial sector as a firm in our own right rather than stay at Rowe Cohen.”
Based in Manchester and London, the firm hopes to be an alternative choice for customers who may traditionally opt for larger, more established firms.
LHS partner Small commented: “We think we’re well equipped to provide a good service in the commercial sector for those who don’t necessarily want to use one of the big boys. We can perhaps provide more of a personal approach.”
Small highlighted SMEs and owner-managed businesses as the type of client that LHS is currently advising.
He said: “We believe we have a bright future ahead of us and are confident about the services the firm can provide.”
