•Hammonds has appointed former Capgemini’s UK CEO Clive Williams as a non-executive director. Williams comes to the firm as part of its campaign to stabilise following a debilitating series of partner losses in the past two years. Williams was also formerly a managing partner at Ernst & Young UK. He will sit on the partnership board alongside non-executive chairman Crawford Gillies. Hammonds hired planning and environmental barrister Penny Jewkes last month along with assistants James Thompson and Richard Weatherhogg from Eversheds and Travers Smith respectively However, real estate litigation partner Andrew Todd and associate Sophie Lawton were both captured by DWF’s Leeds office.
