Morgan Lewis & Bockius, the US firm, has created a new role of regional coordinating partner for Europe to further its global strategy. Senior corporate transactional partner Peter Wallace has relocated from Los Angeles to take up the position in London. He will focus on coordinating interaction between the London, Brussels and Frankfurt offices and between Europe and the US. Wallace says: “We feel Europe is an area where there’s going to be increased business activity and therefore legal activity, especially with the adoption of the single currency next year. It’s time to take things up a level in Europe in terms of our positioning.”
