Nottingham Law School (NLS) has teamed up with global education services firm Kaplan to launch a branch in London.
NLS, which is run by Nottingham Trent Univerisity has signed a partnership agreement with Kaplan to open law school in Islington, north London next year. The law school is hoping to offer LPC and GDL places to around 250 students, with the first cohort starting in September 2007.
NLS has already teamed up with Kaplan in connection with the Nottingham Trent International College. Kaplan teaches 900,000 students every year worldwide and has more than 75 post secondary campuses in the US and abroad.
A spokesperson for NLS said that the law school opted to open its first ever London branch in Islington because of its proximty to the City, as well as St Pancras station which provides access to Nottingham and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
NLS rival College of Law is opening a brand new branch in Moorgate later this summer.
