Weil Gotshal to teach staff how to be PC

Second round of partner cuts imminent; insiders expect legacy TG to suffer

Weil Gotshal & Manges is launching a firmwide educational programme on race, gender and sexual orientation which will see all staff schooled on diversity.

More than 2,600 staff and lawyers will be sent on a one-day workshop, which the firm hopes will give an understanding of “issues and sensibilities included under the general head of diversity”.
Weil Gotshal’s US offices have already begun rolling out the system, while its London staff and lawyers will take part in the workshops in January.
