Ian Pittaway is to serve a second term as senior partner of pensions boutique Sacker & Partners, having been asked to do so by the firm’s partnership.
Pittaway, who succeeded Mark Greenlees as senior partner in 2005, will start his second three-year term in April.
“It’s been great fun leading Sackers as pensions features ever higher on the corporate agenda and I’m looking forward to a second term at the helm,” said Pittaway.
Pittaway has led the firm at a time when pensions issues have become increasingly more visible – something that is to increase further with the Pensions Regulator issuing guidance on conflicts of interest.
“The Pensions Regulator’s guidance on conflicts will result in further consolidation in our marketplace and we expect to be at the forefront of those changes,” added Pittaway.
