Australian firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has appointed a litigation team from Holding Redlich, led by former senior partner Jonathan Kramersh

Kramersh brings with him associate Samantha Frankenberg and assistant Penny Young.

While at Holding Redlich, Kramersh has acted for BHP, Visy Paper, international shopping giant Westfield Corporation and Sussan Property Group, among other blue chip clients.

Corrs has also appointed the deputy government solicitor (commercial) Anne Caine as a new partner in its Canberra office. Her practice has focused on advising Commonwealth agencies on gatekeeper-related and other e-government issues.

At the same time, the Corrs management board has unanimously voted to reappoint its chief executive officer John Denton, who was originally appointed in May 2001.
