Tunbridge Wells widow Sarah Bellingham, whose roofer husband, Andrew, died after falling through a hole in a roof while working at Swindon, Wiltshire in 1995 is suing her husband’s former employers, Hathaway Roofing, of Bishops Auckland, County Durham.

Nykredit Mortgage Bank of Plymouth is suing Colin Knott, Brian Harding and Edward Erdman Group, all of London W1, for damages for alleged breach of 1990 contracts in respect of commercial property at Warple Way, East Acton, London. Knott and Harding are sued as receivers responsible for the marketing and sale of the property, and Edward Erdman is sued over its advice relating to the marketing and sale of the property.

A Rochdale man is taking the Ministry of Defence to court in a claim for damages for noise-induced deafness which he alleges was a result of its negligence. Adrian Whittaker has issued a writ against the MoD claiming work he did for it between 1991 and 1994 resulted in him becoming deaf.
