Online gaming is set to get a boost in the coming weeks, with Asian Logic becoming the first Asia-based gaming company to seek a London listing.

At this stage marketing for the flotation is still being carried out, but it is understood that Berwin Leighton Paisner partner David Collins is representing Asian Logic.

Collins, who declined to comment, acts for the business interests of the company’s co-founder Tom Hall, who is a director of AIM-listed gaming software provider Playtech.

Asian Logic, which derives 90 per cent of its revenue from Asia, with no bets coming from the US, aims to raise £53m via the flotation.

Collins Stewart is acting as broker on the transaction but has yet to instruct any external counsel.
