Linklaters‘ French restructuring practice has been given a boost by the appointment of two new partners from French firm Sonier Poulain & Associés.
Aymar de Mauléon de Bruyères and Cécile Dupoux join the magic circle firm as partners.
De Mauléon de Bruyères will head the restructuring and insolvency team in Paris. Although Linklaters has a large global restructuring practice, banking and finance partner Bertrand Andriani is currently the only French partner with expertise in this area.
The pair have expertise in formal and informal restructuring and insolvency proceedings, and advising management, shareholders and creditors of companies in financial difficulties. Dupoux is dual-qualified in France and England and Wales.
Robert Elliott, Linklaters global head of restructuring, said the hires would enable the firm to deepen its relationships with French banks and international investors in need of insolvency advice.
