If Tulkinghorn were a firm, he would be Finers Stephens Innocent. Nowhere else embodies Tulkinghorn’s ‘turn on, tune in, have a gin and tonic’ philosophy quite so much as that London establishment.
The firm’s latest escapade has landed it with an instruction from music fan and entrepreneur Malcolm Bluemel on the acquisition of radio station Planet Rock.
Apparently M&A partner Sara Wax likes a strum on the electric axe in her spare time and was only too happy to work on the deal that will save the radio station. “Rock fans will not be disappointed,” she says.
Tulkinghorn sees Finers filling a niche in the market. The firm is all about the sex, mugs (of tea), and rock and roll.
