DWF promotions build North West strength

North West firm DWF has made up six partners across its Manchester and Liverpool offices.

The Manchester office has made up Emma Gaudern, who will head the private client department, employment specialist Kate Meadowcroft, who joined the firm when DWF merged with Ricksons in January, corporate lawyer Jonathan Close and real estate finance lawyer Stephen Ellis.

Litigation specialist Matthew Stoll and corporate lawyer Kieran Donovan have been promoted to partner in the firm’s Liverpool office.

DWF managing partner Andrew Leaitherland said: “Following the merger with Ricksons earlier this year, DWF has entered a period of continuing growth. These latest partner promotions will help ensure we have the right structure in place to support the ongoing expansion.”

Earlier this year (3 January) The Lawyer reported on DWF’s merger with insurance specialists Ricksons. The combined firm has offices in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Preston.
