The High Court chancery division has a new judge in the form of real estate specialist Paul Morgan QC of Falcon Chambers.
Morgan joins former Falcon Chambers barristers Lord Neuberger and Mr Justice Lewison as a member of the judiciary.
Joint head of chambers Jonathan Gaunt QC said: “This is a huge honour for us and demonstrates the depth of talent available in the set.”
Falcon Chambers now has nine silks following Morgan’s departure. The chambers received two new silks in last year’s round of appointments, members Martin Rodger and Jonathan Small.
Morgan was called to the bar in 1975 and took silk in 1992. In 2003 he saved the Telegraph Group millions in rent after winning a High Court battle against Canary Wharf.
