Member of the ground staff at Kent County ­Cricket Club, bowling to Brian Lara in the nets.

What was your worst ­experience as a trainee?
Telling a client that the family law courts were the ­backdrop for the Ministry of Defence in a Bond film, then realising we were meant to be up the road at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Where’s the best place to go if you want to find out what’s really going on in the office?
The office next to one of the meeting rooms. The walls are much too thin.

What time do you usually leave the office?
6pm, although I usually end up dealing with emails from colleagues in the US in the evening on my CrackBerry.

What do you do at weekends?

What’s your favourite ­restaurant?
Going Bananas in Port Douglas, Australia.

If you weren’t a lawyer what would you have been?
I would like to have been a painter, although I suspect I don’t have the talent.

Who’s your hero and why?
I admire anyone who stops talking about their dreams and gets on and tries to ­fulfil them.

What’s the best thing about your job?
Trips to head office in Santa Monica to see our special effects and other teams working on the ­latest blockbusters never seem like work.

What’s the toughest thing about your job?
Working West Coast hours when there’s a big deal on.

What’s your biggest work/career mistake and what did you learn from it?
Qualifying into a ­department that I thought was best for me career-wise, rather than the one that interested me most. If you can, you really should enjoy what you do.

What car do you drive?
A Renault Scenic.

What book are you currently reading?
Yellow Dog by Martin Amis.

What’s on your iPod?
Various 2manydjs mixes.

What’s your favourite ­children’s book?
Any of the Just William stories.

If you were stranded on a desert island, which two ­luxury items would you take?
A Roberts radio and Morelli’s ice cream parlour.

What’s the worst partner ­conference location you’ve attended and why?
N/A. Can you start asking people about the best ­location?

What’s the longest you’ve worked without sleep?
I’ve never worked past midnight and long may it continue.

Who would play you in the movie of your life and why?
I guess Louis Theroux looks-wise. I like his sense of humour too.

Who would you least like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
An impressionist. They never have any decent jokes, so what’s the point
of them?
