Life, as fans of the quintessential TV quiz show The Generation Game will know, is the name of the game. And Harvey Miller wanted to play the game with Weil Gotshal & Manges one more time.

So in March this year the bankruptcy legend, who left the firm in 2002 after 33 years for investment bank Greenhill & Co, made a comeback. No doubt he spent much of his first few days back in the office trying to memorise everything he had the first time around – branded stress ball, Mont Blanc pen, cuddly toy… Of course, on the telly it was Bruce Forsyth that made the stunning comeback.

But we think Harvey would identify more with his doppelgänger Larry Grayson. Meaning only that he was the more successful host in viewing figures.
