Baker & McKenzie (B&M) has elected Laurent Epstein as the firm’s new Paris managing partner. Epstein replaces Eric Lasry in the top French role, following Lasry’s election to B&M’s global executive committee last month. Fellow partner Denise Broussal has been elected as co-manager and will be responsible for representing Paris on B&M’s internal international committees. Epstein has been a partner at B&M since 1990 and specialises in M&A work, while Broussal is an employment partner. Lasry had been managing partner in Paris since July last year.
