The haemorrhage of partners from RadcliffesLeBrasseur continues, with Leeds-based Colin Dixon the latest to join the exodus.
As first revealed on www.thelawyer.com (10 March), the commercial property expert, whose clients have included Tesco, Dixons, UCI Cinemas and Six Continents, has quit the firm to become head of property at Yorkshire firm McCormicks.
Dixon is the third property partner to have left RadcliffesLeBrasseur this year, and his departure leaves Radcliffes’ Leeds office with one property partner.
Robert Vallings, senior partner at RadcliffesLeBrasseur, conceded that the firm had suffered losses, but insisted: “We’re alive and well.”
He added: “We have long-term plans to boost our private client and property offerings in Leeds, but we’re concentrating on London at the moment.”
Earlier this year, the firm appointed property partner Virginia Bryant from Campbell Hooper to the team.
Richard Moran, head of corporate at McCormicks, said: “The addition of [Dixon’s] expertise and leadership gives us a real opportunity to forge ahead in the property market.”
