Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rädler partner Marc Trinkaus has had just about enough of people mistakenly dropping an ‘h’ into the middle of his name. Some sloppy folks have been known to accidentally (mischievously?) drop in an ‘h’ between the ‘k’ and the ‘a’ to transform his name into ‘Trinkhaus’, which of course is the German equivalent of ‘pub’. It may not exactly be the image that an ambitious junior partner wants to portray, but it certainly provides much amusement for his laugh-a-minute German colleagues.
