Holman Fenwick names new senior partner

Holman Fenwick & Willan partners have elected litigator Richard Crump to take over as senior partner when Roderic O’Sullivan retires at the end of April.

O’Sullivan, who specialises in advising international transport and energy companies, is leaving the firm after 36 years as a partner. He was instrumental in HFW’s restructuring into industry focussed practice groups in 2003, when he was appointed senior partner.

On handing over to Crump, O’Sullivan said: “I have known Richard Crump since 1978 when interviewing him to join our firm whilst he was an undergraduate at Oriel College Oxford.

“His formidable contribution and commitment to HFW has been justly rewarded with his election to the Senior Partner role”.

Crump, who joined the firm in 1979 and became partner eight years later, will be working alongside managing partner Greg Gray and deputy partner Marcus Bowman who have been re-elected, unopposed.

Crump, said: “I look forward to continuing to develop and expand the business, with my Partners, in our chosen fields.”
