Obtaining a great settlement for a small sub-contractor from a major construction company after three years of toil and strife.

What was your most embarrassing professional moment?

Taking my jacket off in the RCJ and being ordered by counsel to put it back on after an outrageous stare from the Master.

What do you least like about being a lawyer?

It keeps me off the golf course.

And the best thing about being a lawyer?

Striving to obtain justice. Oh, and it pays the bills.

Who do you admire most, and why?

People who risk their lives for others, for their selfless attitude to life.

The Scarlet Pimpernel, because he's never there!

How do you relax?

Spending time with my wife and two children.

A copy of any Premier League table showing Nottingham Forest outside the bottom three.

Forest being relegated again this year.

Hitting the winning run for the Atlanta Braves in the baseball World Series.
