LONDON solicitors and barristers are being invited to go Dutch to continue a 30-year friendship.
Exchanges between Dutch and English lawyers have been taking place since 1966 and will continue between 6 and 11 May when up to 100 English lawyers visit The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
The five-day programme will include a reception at the British embassy in The Hague, lectures by senior Dutch lawyers and visits to Dutch law firms to see how they work.
Lecture subjects include litigation before the international courts and witnesses and experts in criminal trials.
More informally, the trip will include a hockey match between lawyers from the two countries and a cabaret evening with performances from English and Dutch lawyers.
Contact Helen Loose at Cameron Markby Hewitt, DX 215 London City. The trip will cost around £125.
