Bird & Bird doubles partnership promotions” />Bird & Bird has doubled its promotions to the partnership, making up a record 14 associates to partnership this year after last year’s haul of seven.
The firm focused on its international offices, making up only four in London, equaling the total in Germany. Düsseldorf got two new partners, and one associate was promoted in each of Bird & Bird’s offices in Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, Lyon, The Hague, Milan, Madrid and Stockholm.
Bird & Bird chief executive officer David Kerr said: “We are promoting a record number of new partners across 15 offices, demonstrating the success of our continued policy of rapid international expansion.”
Four promotions boosted the firm’s IP/IT practice; three were in corporate, and the tax and employment both received two. Bird & Bird’s real estate, competition, and banking groups made up one new partner each.
