Guildford-based firm Stevens & Bolton has advised real estate agents Countrywide, LSL Property Services and Connells Group in their strategic tie-up with leading property website zoopla.co.uk.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement signed last week, the three agents, which between them operate more than 2,000 branches in high streets throughout the UK, will advertise all their properties on the website.
As well as providing advisory and marketing support, Countrywide CEO Grenville Turner, LSL CEO Simon Embley and Connells CEO David Livesey have all been appointed as non-executive directors on zoopla’s board.
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate head Ken Woffenden, assisted by senior corporate associate Suzanne Jefferies.
Stevens & Bolton has worked with Connells, a subsidiary of Skipton Building Society, for three years and has previously advised Countrywide in real estate matters. This was the first time the firm had worked with LSL.
London-headquartered Gordons advised zoopla on the deal. The firm’s team was led by James Gordon, assisted by associate Victoria Cochrane.
