London-based securitisation partner Jim Rice led an international team from Linklaters advising the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI) Fund on the structureand form of the International Finance Facility for Immunisation (IFFIm). The bond was launched last week (7 November) by chancellor Gordon Brown. Allen & Overy, Denton Wilde Sapte, Richards Butler and Slaughter and May also gave pro bono advice to parties involved in the scheme.
