Bird & Bird has boosted its revenue by 20 per cent this half-year compared with the same period last year, bringing in £55m since the last financial year-end.
Last year Bird & Bird grew by 20 per cent to reach a revenue of £96.7m. Managing partner David Kerr said: “This matches the consistent growth we’ve been experiencing. It’s not an unusual percentage for us. It continues to be a good trading period.”
The firm’s growth has been driven by aggressive European expansion as well as a push into corporate and finance work beyond IP/IT.
Kerr was confident the coming half-year would be even more lucrative, saying: “We’re on track for a more sizeable growth.”
