Anthony Michael Bertin, 44, admitted 1976, practised in partnership as Bertin Ware & Associates, Folkestone, Kent, reprimanded and ordered to pay £797 costs. Allegations substantiated he failed to comply with direction of Solicitors Complaints Bureau.

Arthur Giles Irving Wontner, 60, admitted 1969, practised as Wontner & Sons, London WC2, fined £2,000 and ordered to pay £533 costs. Allegations substantiated he failed to pay counsels' fees on time and failed to reply to letters from other solicitors and/or Solicitors Complaints Bureau.

Havard Yoel Rose, 60, admitted 1960, practised in partnership with Maurice Hudgell & Co, London SW1, struck off and ordered to pay £4,782 costs. Rose practised until 1974 when his name was removed from the roll. It was restored in 1983. Allegations substantiated he dishonestly or improperly used client money for own benefit or that of others, wrongly drew client money and failed to keep properly written accounts.

Colin Heywood Gillingham, 56, admitted 1975, practised at material time as Colin Gillingham, Redruth, Cornwall, fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £760 costs. Allegations substantiated he was responsible for excessive and unreasonable delay in client's affairs, delivery of papers and deeds and conduct of professional business, and failed to reply to letters from Solicitors Complaints Bureau.

Geoffrey Martin Grimwade, 50, admitted 1970, practised at material times as Grimwades, Peterborough, struck off and ordered to pay £2,325 costs. Allegations substantiated he wrongly drew client money and used it for own purposes and failed to keep properly written accounts. Tribunal told Law Society investigation accountant claimed Grimwade had misappropriated £41,590 client funds and funds held under power of attorney.

Simon Eastwood, 39, admitted 1981, practising at material times in partnership with Brady Eastwood Pierce & Stewart, Greenwich, London, fined £250 and ordered to pay £589 costs. Allegations substantiated he practised without current practising certificate.
