On Rugby World Cup final day, Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) invited all its international and UK panel firms to a day of boozing and rugby.

SCB’s panel firms battled it out on the rugby pitch, with Slaughter and May putting in the winning performance, beating Lovells in the final.

A penalty shoot-out competition was put on for those not taking part in the main tournament, with Denton Wilde Sapte partner Nick Grandage victorious.

Sadly, the post rugby celebrations were dampened by the South Africa v England match that was screened afterwards.
