LG managing partner, Penny Francis, will replace Bill Richards as the firm’s senior partner.
Francis was elected by the firm, beating competition from fellow partners corporate head, Chris Tite, corporate partner Sunil Kakkad and tax partner Robert Field.
The head of LG’s business and finance group Hugh Maule will replace Francis as managing partner.
Francis, who became managing partner at LG in 2002, has held the position for two terms being re-elected in 2005.
Richards was elected as senior partner of the firm in 2005 after being managing partner since 1995.
