Mishcon de Reya and Wragge & Co have advised on a £25m deal to develop the new stadium for Luton Town Football Club. Under the deal the Old Park Farm site owned by Cliff Bassett will become home to the club’s new 22,000-seat stadium. Bassett was advised by Mishcon partner Alan Spiers. Wragges, led by finance partner Colin Hurt, advised developer Rosemound. Luton Town was without representation. The firm has a longstanding relationship with Rosemound, advising on deals that have included the joint venture with British Land to buy 74 acres of development land at the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.
