Salary range

Annual bonuses determined with reference to a number of criteria, including chargeable hours. The value range is between 10 and 20 per cent of salary.

Extensive training programme. Each practice area has a bespoke curriculum to deliver black letter law and legal skills training in London and internationally. The firm also has a programme designed to complement technical skills with business, commercial and personal skills development.

Self-assessment in preparation for an annual review meeting conducted by one or two partners, with additional input from other partners. During the meeting a personal development plan and agreed objectives are drawn up, forming the basis for development over the next year. The plan is drawn up from a curriculum of compulsory and optional courses tailored to each level in each practice area.

Partner progression
Fifty per cent of partners in London are home-grown and there are 18 lateral partners. Youngest partner 30.

Billable hours target
Between 1,400 and 1,900, depending on level and jurisdiction.

Flexible and part-time working
Flexible working requests are considered in consultation, in line with the needs of the business. Part-time working available.

Holiday entitlement
Twenty-five days for all staff.
