Clifford Chance is set to overhaul its London capital markets practice in a move which will see the firm combine three of its specialist capital markets groups.
The magic circle firm has announced plans to widen its capital markets practice to include its debt and equity capital markets, structured debt and corporate trusts groups.
A Clifford Chance spokesperson said: “This move will have a number of
advantages for the firm, allowing us to offer complementary skills to
clients and develop new products more easily, and offer our lawyers a
broader range of capital markets experience than any other equivalent group
The move will create a capital markets group consisting of 29 partners and 110 lawyers.
The London practice leader is David Bickerton, who was re-elected to the position of London head of capital markets in October.
