On a recent jaunt Down Under, one of Tulkinghorn’s scribes was looking forward to a promised lunch on Sydney Harbour courtesy of Australian firm Allens Arthur Robinson, but he quickly began to fear that wild goose would be the only item on the menu.
The firm’s PR head, looking to impress by choosing to walk in the Aussie summer sun, was undone when he mislaid directions to the restaurant. There’s nothing like a trek up and down the hills of Macquarie Street to work up an appetite. Thankfully, a rival establishment finally provided directions.
At least the story has a happy ending – the Australian seafood was top-notch.
