Hammonds has recruited former Simmons & Simmons partner Mark Norris as head of its London banking practice.
Norris spent nine years as a partner at Simmons, including a stint as head of the London banking group, before leaving the firm last year. He also managed the firm’s Frankfurt and Dusseldorf offices and set up its Moscow office. “Mark’s perfectly suited to this role,” said Hammonds banking chief Simon Owen. “His broad expertise, management skills and commercial acumen make him the ideal choice to take the helm of the young and dynamic London banking team.”
