Walsh was a solicitor in Pinsents' insurance and reinsurance group and spent time as a secondee at Benfield, as well as acting on its acquisition of EW Blanch in May 2001. Walsh confirmed that the company is formulising a panel for error and omissions work, which will be rationalised within approximately a month. Pinsents currently acts as insurance adviser. The company also uses Debevoise & Plimpton and Dorsey & Whitney for US advice.
