CC's CMT department lands Video Networks

Clifford Chance has won Video Networks as a new client for its communications, media and technology department (CMT).

The firm has just completed its first deal for the client after it approached head of the CMT group, partner Daniel Sandelson. He had worked with Video Networks' general counsel Adam Tow before he joined Video Networks from Channel 5.
Sandelson has just advised the company on its acquisition of the UK video-on-demand rights to Premier League football for the next three seasons, and is already working on other deals.
He said it was exactly the kind of the company that the CMT group was targeting.
