Irish firm William Fry has made its mark on the US market with the launch of a New York office.
The firm, which has had a presence in New York for the past 10 years, has formalised its position in the US by opening an office on Park Avenue.
The opening of the office coincided with a significant increase in Irish companies’ investment in the US. Managing partner Brendan Cahill said this was a “continuation of a process” initiated 10 years ago.
Consultant Peter Hooper will lead the office, which currently has no fee-earning staff.
William Fry’s clients include ConocoPhillips, Starbucks, US Bancorp and Yahoo!
Cahill said that the firm would not exclude the possibility of opening other foreign offices in the future.
