McKee Nelson raids King & Spalding again

The firm has again plundered King & Spalding – from where MNE&Y co-founders, William McKee and William Nelson originate – bringing in trial lawyer David Curtin from the DC office.

The other three partners, Scott Farmer, John Magee and Richard Stark, come from Washington firm, Miller & Chevalier. Farmer is head of Miller's international tax practice, whilst Magee was chair of Miller's tax practice department and a member of the its executive committee.

The new recruits bring the lawyer count at MNE&Y to 17 since the office was set up in November last year.

The firm says it wants 50 attorneys on board by the end of 2000 and has promised further recruitment announcements before the end of the month
