Niche Danish insurance practice Samuelsson Neugebauer has merged with Danish giant Kromann Reumert

Founding partners Morten Samuelsson and Christina Neugebauer have become partners at Kromann.

Their six associates also joined the firm's insurance and transportation practice, which now totals five partners and 16 associates.

“[The merger is] part of Kromann Reumert's specialisation strategy. As part of a continued business development, it is Kromann Reumert's strategy to strengthen the competencies in the legal areas relevant to the business sector,” said Henrik Stenbjerre, chief executive of Kromann Reumert's management committee.

Samuelsson specialises in professional liability, while Neugebauer deals primarily with personal injury law.

Samuelsson Neugebauer has brought clients such as AIG and Lloyd's to Kromann Reumert. The practice has a particular expertise in transforming US and UK products for the Danish market.
