Clifford Chance‘s last remaining shipping partner has left for Holman Fenwick & Willan.
Head of shipping Mark Morrison will join Holman as a partner with his three-strong team, which includes associates Judith Prior, Sarra Kay and Amanda Rathbone.
Clifford Chance is the last magic circle firm to drop its shipping practice.
The departures follow a review of the magic circle firm’s litigation department in January, which has concluded with the team’s exit.
Morrison’s clients, including marine companies and marine insurance clubs, are expected to follow him to Holman.
Morrison, who has been with Clifford Chance for 26 years, and a partner for 14, will join Holman in January.
