Breaking news: Bahl instructs Khan on Law Society appeal

In July this year, an employment tribunal found the Law Society liable for a race and sex discrimination charge brought by Bahl. The main defendants were former Law Society president Robert Sayer and former general secretary Jane Betts.
Bahl is currently appealing against aspects of the tribunal's decision, most notably that she lied under oath while giving evidence. Khan has joined forces with Bahl to call for a public inquiry into the Law Society's conduct during the tribunal, and for the resignation of Sayer and others from the Law Society Council. Khan and Bahl have collected 100 signatures, the number necessary to take an issue to a postal vote, and will ask for a Law Society members' vote on the issue.
