Irish firm Mason Hayes & Curran is to consolidate its position in the Irish market by merging with Dublin-based Arthur O’Hagan.
The new firm will trade under the Mason Hayes & Curran brand and the 40 staff employed at Arthur O’Hagan will transfer to its Dublin headquarters.
Mason Hayes managing partner Emer Gilvarry said the smaller firm’s education, charity and medical law expertise would complement the firm’s offering.
He added: “The merger with Arthur O’Hagan supports our growth strategy and our ambition to be the most progressive Irish law firm.”
Mason Hayes recently announced a 14 per cent rise in turnover during the last financial year, with revenue increasing to €32m (£25.77m).
