Australian firm Blake Dawson Waldron has hired tax expert Geoff Mann for its Melbourne tax practice. Formerly Freehills’ head of tax, he will maintain his focus on indirect tax matters. The firm is also boosting its physical sciences group with the hires of patent attorney Dale Watson from Freehills and trainee patent attorney Allen Chan from New Zealand firm Pipers Patent and Trademark Attorneys.
