Capsticks is set to open an office in Leeds, representing the latest move in the healthcare specialist firm’s national expansion strategy.
The new office is scheduled to open on 15 August with three partners, two of whom – clinical negligence partner David Roberts and employment partner Andrew Davidson – joined Capsticks from Hempsons earlier this summer.
The move comes a month after London-headquartered Capsticks took a new 10-year lease, incorporating additional space at its Birmingham office.
The firm’s managing director Alison Morley said an office in the North had been planned as long as three years ago, when Capsticks opened in the West Midlands.
“The biggest decision was whether to open in Leeds or Manchester, and ultimately we decided the market felt less crowded in Leeds and therefore potentially a better employment market for us,” Morley said.
Capsticks posted a 13 per cent increase in total revenue last year, from £26.4m to £29.8m.
