Although there was no major increase in the size of Isolas' workforce last year, with total headcount steady at 50, the firm saw a net increase of two to its partnership and two to its lawyer numbers. Lawyers Samantha Grimes and Joey Garcia were promoted to the partnership in February last year.
Isolas scored a coup in October last year when it appointed the former CEO of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, Marcus Killick, as its first CEO. Killick was drafted in to take an active management role as well as assist the firm's financial services teams. Killick is also a lawyer, having originally qualified as a barrister.
