The general bonus system has been discontinued. Now bonuses are only available to partners, determined through formal appraisals, targets, specific reviews and awarded annually. The value range is between £5,000 and £30,000.

More than 200 courses available. The firm’s management courses have been accredited by the Law Society and 1 per cent of the budget goes into training.

Committed to the process, but not 360°.

Partner progression
Formal process in August. Group heads put forward potential candidates, who undertake written papers, psychometric tests and full panel interviews.

Billable hours target
1,350 (partners 1,200).
