High Court rules RBS cannot claim privilege over key documents in £4bn rights issue case

The High Court has rejected a bid by the Royal Bank of Scotland and its lawyers Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) to claim legal privilege over a raft of documents related to its 2008 rights issue, now the subject of a £4bn claim by investors.
