Working across multiple sectors, Gardere advises clients on a range of matters pertaining to advertising and marketing law, with an emphasis on trademarks and copyrights. His practice encompasses trademark portfolio management, the valuation and commercialization of IP rights, social media advertising, product packaging and labelling regulations, Charter of the French Language issues, publicity contests and domain name disputes.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Gardere served as a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, and also as a legal counsel in Bombardier Inc.’s Recreational Products division.
