The top ranked investment funds team at Gowling WLG advised existing clients Tufton Oceanic Assets Limited (“Tufton Oceanic”) on its issue of C Shares that raised $78.4 million. The C Shares will be admitted to trading on the Specialist Fund Segment of the main market. The C Shares were placed with investors by Nplus1 Singer Advisory LLP and Hudnall Capital LLP.

Gowling WLG acted for Tufton Oceanic on its initial listing on the Specialist Fund Segment of the main market for listed securities in February 2017 which raised $91 million. Tufton Oceanic is a Guernsey incorporated investment fund which invests in a diversified portfolio of a commercial shipping vessels utilising a variety of employment charter strategies. Its assets are managed by Tufton Oceanic Ltd.

The prospectus published in connection with the C Share issue also incorporates a placing programme of 200 million ordinary shares and/or C Shares.
